Dr. Charles Daniel:
Dr. Daniels is Pharmacist In Chief at UC San Diego Health, Associate Dean for Professional Practice, and Clinical Professor in the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of California San Diego. Dr. Daniels has presented at multiple CSHP meetings, served on the Seminar Program Planning Committee, and the CSHP Pharmacy Practice Model Initiative Task Force, 2012 – 2014.

Dr. Candis Morello:
Dr. Morello's research program involves exploring both clinical outcomes in diabetes patients and educational outcomes in student pharmacists who attend her diabetes educational programs. Dr. Morello maintains a clinical practice at the Veterans Affairs San Diego Health System where she is Director of the Diabetes Intense Medical Management Clinic. She is studying the effect of pharmacist-run diabetes medication management services on the 1) metabolic, 2) quality of life, 3) patient satisfaction 4) adherence rate outcomes in diabetes patients, 5) pharmacoeconomics and 6) medication complexity.​ Dr. Morello is the faculty liason for our chapter to SDSHP.

Dr. Linda Reynolds:
As a newly appointed CSHP-UCSD Faculty Advisor, Dr. Reynolds first joined CSHP in 1994 and served on the Seminar 2009 and Focus 1999 Management Teams, SDSHP Treasurer, Newsletter Co-Chair, and Pharmacist of the Year Committee. Dr. Reynolds is currently serving as Volunteer Faculty as a UCSD Pharmacist Attending and UCSD APPE preceptor at the UCSD Free Clinics, with 20+ years of service at the Downtown, Pacific Beach, Baker Elementary and Normal Heights clinic sites. She has served on multiple committees including the SSPPS Dean’s Advisory Board and San Diego Pharmacist Resource and Research Network Advisory Board, and served as an APPE Site Coordinator and Preceptor (Health Net, 2009-2015). She is actively participating as an ongoing preceptor to multiple CSHP community outreach events such as Poison Prevention, Health Fairs, COVID vaccination clinics and participates with CV Review and Mock Interviews to help students prepare for a pharmacy residency. Dr. Reynolds completed her PGY1 residency at UCSD Medical Center and worked as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist locally at the Naval Medical Center and the Veteran’s Administration Hospital. While employed at the UCSD Investigational Drug Service, she was recruited to Health Net, focusing on managed care and gaining expertise in Medication Therapy Management, Medicare Stars Program, Quality programs including HEDIS and NCQA measures, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Prior Authorization, and designing clinical programs for members and providers. She also obtained Board Certification in ambulatory care (2012-2019). Since retiring in 2015, Dr. Reynolds continues her volunteer work for both UCSD and UCSF schools of pharmacy to give back to the profession, students, and community.
