Getting our Clinical On!

On September 30th, UCSD held its annual Clinical Skills Competition at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy. The competition tests the students' clinical knowledge as well as how they present a patient case to the judging faculty. This year there were 7 teams interested that competed. The winner of the competition would go on to face against other schools in a similar competition at the state level. The students were not only able to apply their therapeutic knowledge, but also have first hand experience in how to work up a patient which serves as good practice for rotations and their future pharmacy careers.
